My client is seeking an experienced professional to manage our planning department. The planning group has 4 people in the group consisting of 3 licensed planners and a more junior planner. The ideal candidate is an experienced, energetic and talented professional planner, Engineer or Landscape Architect whose responsibility will be to direct a wide range of municipal and private planning projects, as well as to mentor mid-level and junior staff. This position reports to the Civil Director.

.A Bachelors/Masters degree in planning or related field, professional planning license and at least five year’s management experience is required. Excellent communication skills, the ability to manage staff and strong project management skills are essential. Must be able to develop and maintain client relations.
